Tout le monde qui veut aider le Werkgroep Morkhoven dans sa lutte contre les réseaux pédophiles (dont l'existence reste nié par les authorités belges), peut aider par publier et diffuser les messages, traduire les articles et écrire à Marcel Vervloesem si sa correspondance n'est pas bloquée.

Aujourd'hui, la fille de Marcel Vervloesem qui n'est jamais interviewé par les tabloids belges qui mènent pendant 14 ans un procès de média contre Marcel Vervloesem et le Werkgroep Morkhoven pour étouffer l'affaire Zandvoort (90.000 victims dont des bébés), nous disait que sa père ne le peut plus contacter pendant 2 jours.  C'est clair que la Justice belge veut isoler Marcel Vervloesem qui n'a pas le droit de se défendre.

Espérons que la prison ne change pas le numéro de la cellule de Marcel, comme c'est l'habitude dans la prison de Bruges...

Le ministre de la Justice belge, Annemie Turtelboom (Parti libérale), est au courant de sa situation médicale (opérations du coeur, 3 x par semaine un dialyze des reins, gravement diabète, opéré pour un cancer etc.). Le Ministre prétend de 'lutter la partialité de la magistrature dans le cadre d'un nouveau déontologie'.  Mais Turtelboom semble soutenir ce nouveau procès de média contre Marcel Vervloesem, sa famille et le Werkgroep Morkhoven. Comme ministre de la justice, elle est responsable pour cette nouvelle situation.

Parmi les CD-Roms du réseau Zandvoort qui sont disparus chez la Justice belge, figure le CD-Rom que le Werkgroep Morkhoven avait à l’époque transmis au Roi belge. La maison royale belge a fait parvenir alors ce CD-Rom au ministre de la Justice d’alors, Tony van Parijs (du parti Chrétien-Démocrate, CD&V), qui aurait normalement dû le mettre entre les mains des procureurs du Roi pour servir à ‘des fins d’enquête’.

Marcel Vervloesem est, après une nouvelle campagne des média qui aident à étouffer l'affaire Zandvoort (90.000 victimes), actuellement incarcéré à nouveau à la prison de Turnhout.  Le script de son livre où il décrit sa vie et ses actions avec le Werkgroep Morkhoven, a été saisi par la Justice.  Pendant 4 ans déjà il a un interdiction de contacter la presse et ses amis du asbl Werkgroep Morkhoven dont il est membre de la direction.  Marcel Vervloesem ne sait pas à contacter sa fille pendant 2 jours. C'est clair qu'on le veut isoler complètement.

De Belgische Justitie legde Marcel Vervloesem bij zijn voorlopige invrijheidsstelling 2 jaar geleden het verbod op om: 1) de pers te contacteren   2) mee te werken aan organisaties die kindermisbruik bestrijden    3) Naar het buitenland te reizen (om daar eventueel deel te nemen aan kongressen rond kindermisbruik)  4) de bestuursleden van de vereniging ‘Werkgroep Morkhoven’ te contacteren terwijl hij zelf nog steeds bestuurslid is en terwijl deze bestuursleden hem gedurende 2 jaar, iedere week in de gevangenis gingen bezoeken (waarvoor zij de toelating kregen).

Gina Bernard-Pardaens die met de Werkgroep Morkhoven onderzoek voerde naar deze vreemde verdwijning, kwam destijds, na maandenlange telefoonproblemen en doodsbedreigingen, om tijdens een mysterieus nachtelijk ongeval. De ouders van Manuel Schadwald werden destijds ontvangen door de voormalige justitieminister Stefaan De Clerck die er zich met een ‘charmante’ glimlach en enkele krachtige uitspraken van afmaakte.

Speaking today Raymond McCartney said "Sinn Féin is totally opposed to former political prisoners being held in prison by revoking their licence. "Now that the charges against Brendan Lillis are not being brought forward he should be released immediately. "Given the urgency of Brendan Lillis' very serious medical condition in the prision hospital . I would appeal for his immediate release on humanitarian grounds." Protests Grow in Solidarity with California Prisoners as Hunger Strikes Enter Third Week

Thousands of inmates in at least 13 prisons across California’s troubled prison system have been on hunger strike for almost two weeks. Many are protesting in solidarity with inmates held in Pelican Bay State Prison, California’s first super-maximum security prison, over what prisoners say are cruel and unusual conditions in "Secure Housing Units." Brendan Lillis, a 59 year old former Life-sentence political prisoner from West Belfast, in Ireland, is currently desperately ill in the medical wing of the notorious Maghaberry prison, in County Antrim. He suffers from the intensely painful and progressive disease called Ankylosing Spondylitis which due to other medical complications has left himunable to move from his bed for 14 months and his weight has dropped to a perilous 6 stones (38.1 Kilos !). Due to a series of serious infections and medication which has compromised his immune system, Mr Lillis has been unable to eat, sleep or hold down even liquids for a period close to a month and is constant agony. In short, his health has deteriorated to such an extent that his partner Roisin, who is his only contact with the outside world, fears that he will die in his prison bed!

Dear Sir,

During years and years, I am working about human rights, so well on a national as international level.

I am very shocked by the violations of human rights and the many deaths and suicides in the prisons of Northern Ireland.

I refer to the case of Brendan Lillis in the Maghaberry prison of Northern Ireland where 5 men died during the last months.

Brendan Lillis is a very sick man. During several months, he is in bed. He cannot almost move or talk anymore. He can not eat or drink normally and risks every moment to die.

I wrote to Pauline McCabe, Prisoner Ombudsman for Northern Ireland, who answered me that she 'can not be helpfull' while her service investigates since 2005 all the deaths in prisons.

We contacted Justice Minister David Ford who seems not to be worried about the life of Brendan Lillis and the inhuman situations in prisons.

May I pray you to intervene in this tragical case ?

URGENT PHONE CALLS NEEDED TO MAGHABERRY JAIL DOCTOR

Let’s ensure the prison knows that we are paying very close attention from the US and elsewhere !

The Irish Freedom Committee is urging all supporters of Irish republican prisoners in the US to place a short phone call tomorrow to Maghaberry Prison Medical Center, to appeal for the immediate humanitarian release of Brendan Lilllis. Brendan’s fiancée Roisin has been told by prison doctors today that he has very little time left to live. Please call the Maghaberry Prison Medical Center tomorrow at the number posted below and ask to speak with Doctor Palmer. Please be polite but firm, and state that you are calling with your urgent concerns for Brendan Lillis, who you have learned is now close to death. Brendan has not left his bed in over a year and a half. You are calling to urge the immediate, compassionate and humanitarian release of this very ill man to his home; so that he may pass in peace with his loved ones around him. All charges against him have been dropped, so there should be no reasonable objection to this humane, and long overdue, decision. Brendan’s fiancée asks that we direct our appeals to Doctor Palmer as she believes that he is a humanistic person who has become frustrated with the system that is responsible for the continued internment of her critically ill loved one in jail without charge.

Er ging begin deze week een schok doorheen de burelen waar ambtenaren en politici bezig zijn met de realisatie van de nieuwe Dendermondse gevangenis. In tegenstelling tot hun verwachtingen ging de auditeur  - de vertegenwoordiger van het openbaar ministerie bij de Raad van State - bij de Raad van State in haar zeer lijvig 95 pagina dik pleidooi in tegen de overheden die hier de gevangenis willen bouwen.

Het leek allemaal mooi 

En haar voornaamste hier gebruikte argument kan tellen. Volgt de Raad van State haar advies dan betekent dit volgens betrokkenen dat er een tijdlang geen nieuwe ruimtelijke uitvoeringsplannen (RUP) met daarbij een milieueffectenrapport (MER) in Vlaanderen meer mogelijk zijn. De schok in Brussel, Gent en Dendermonde was dan ook groot. “Ik viel van mijn stoel toen ik het las”, was de reactie van een ruimtelijke planner.

Het actiecomité tegen de gevangenis trok opnieuw naar de Raad van State.

Tegen de bouw van de nieuwe gevangenis was zoals vooraf te verwachten viel beroep aangetekend door het actiecomité uit de Boonwijk die ageert tegen  die komst van de nieuwe gevangenis naar hun buurt. Daarbij vragen zij in kortgeding zoals voorheen de schorsing en finaal ook de vernietiging van het provinciaal ruimtelijk uitvoeringsplan (RUP) dat de inplanting van die nieuwe gevangenis moet mogelijk maken. De zaak komt nu in kortgeding voor met debatten voorzien voor augustus en met mogelijks al in september een uitspraak.

Het leek recent op het Dendermondse stadhuis nochtans allemaal zo mooi toen het contract voor de bouw van die gevangenis er op 28 juni plechtig ondertekend werd. De Nederlandse bouwgroep BAM, bankier Dexia, minister van Financiën Didier Reynders (MR), de verantwoordelijke voor de Regie der Gebouwen, en minister van Justitie Stefaan De Clerck (CD&V) lachten breed en lieten zich veelvuldig fotograferen toen  ze hun handtekening zetten onder die contracten.

May I remind you to my letter of 30.6.2011, please ?

In this letter I said that it is not normal that, while you are pretending to investigate the complaints from prisoners and the deaths in prison custody (from 1 September 2005 the remit of the Prisoner Ombudsman was even extended as required by the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland), you say that you ‘can not comment and can not be helpful’ in the case of Brendan Lillis.

You say that 'these matters are for Minister for Justice Ford and the prison authorities' but that is not correct. The least you can do as Prisoners Ombudsman which investigates with a special team the many deaths and suicides in the prisons of Northern Ireland, is to make a report of a caseas Brendan Lillis and to take contact with the Minister and the direction of the prison authorities.

As you know very well, Brendan is very sick and he risks to die in the Maghaberry prison of Northern Ireland where there were 3 deaths during the past 3 months.

I learned that Brendan has no right to the visit of a physician from outside the prison. That's in violation of the prison law and international laws. Brendan is now more than 450 days in bed and he is more dead than alive. His situation is getting worse every day. He can hardly move or talk. He would now be fed through a gut that is going ​​directly to his stomach. That is a sadistic torture because they know that he is dying and it is again a violation of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and of the national and international laws.

Given his health, he has the right to be released.

As I said, there have been many deaths in the Maghaberry prison without you were doing anything to prevent it, without you took your job seriously. You seem to work without human feeling, without thinking of the life of the prisoners and their husbands, their families and friends.

Remember that you are a prisoner ombudsman. So, it is your work to DO something for prisoners.

You think that, by refering to the Minister of Justice and the direction of the prison authorities, you can avoid your responsibility. But it will not help you. If you do not help a very sick prisoner by making a report and contacting the Minister and the prison authorities, you can be prosecuted as he dies.

Het ministerie van Justitie ging in de fout door Luc Vervaet de toegang tot de Belgische gevangenissen te ontzeggen. Tot dat oordeel kwam zegt het Brusselse hof van beroep. Vervaet werkte tot deze zomer voor de vzw Adeppi als lesgever Nederlands in de gevangenis van Sint-Gillis. Hij trachtte er jonge criminelen terug een perspectief te bieden via taallessen. Hij klaagde meermaals in open brieven aan kranten ook de mensonwaardige toestanden in een aantal Belgische gevangenissen aan.

Remember also that if you do not help a sick prisoner who risks to die, you can be prosecuted as this prisoner dies.
